Fall 2011 - The recent reopening of the MacMillan Building in Elmsdale was recognized by a networking event by the East Hants & Districts Chamber of Commerce, first in their new 'Business After Hours' series.  See photos below...   Guests learned about the restoration of the building after a serious fire this year and met new tenants.  Catering Unlimited's staff saw to everyone's every need and presented a continuous stream of tempting new items for nibbling and sipping.   Things started with healthy choices in fresh fruit & veggies, proceed to hearty meat treats to tempt any taste buds, and wrapped up with nothing less that truly decadent sweets!

Founder and owner Susie McDonell is an accomplished business owner with over 32 years experience in the food and beverage industry. And, as Susie always says, "if you don't enjoy this business you shouldn't be in it!" She has a life-long passion for food and entertaining, and as you'll see from the many client testimonials on this site, Catering Unlimited receives many rave reviews from happy customers.

Susie McDonell Wins Tom Parker Award - East Hants & Districts Chamber of Commerce presented the prestigious Tom Parker Award to Susie at their 2009 Business Awards Gala. He was a founding member of the Chamber in 1986 and its first president, and today the Chamber honours his name by recognizing an outstanding Chamber member each year. Judging criteria include Chamber achievements, voluntary work with non-profit organizations, business success and other important qualities.

Some of our Events

Fall 2011 - Catering Unlimited helped one of their favourite customers, Strides and the MacMillan Centre in Elmsdale celebrate their recent reopening with a Chamber of Commerce 'Business After Hours' near the end of September.  Event sponsor Catering Unlimited provided fellow Chamber members with a wide choice of hot & cold appetizers both buffett style and served by our staff.

Leon's Furniture Store Grand Opening - Burnside Branch, Dartmouth
Grand Opening guests started at the bar to quench their thirst...	nibbled delectable smoked salmon with capers & cream cheese...	then proceeded to the carving station for succulent roast beef!

East Hants Sportsplex Business Leaders Reception, Elmsdale
The food table was handsomely dressed with fresh flowers...	offered a selection of tasty cheeses and crusty breads...	and was kept in good trim by Catering Unlimited's friendly staff.
Selection included a sampling of succulent chilled fruits...	decadent smoked salmon & cream cheese garnished with capers...	and piping hot chicken kabobs and bacon wrapped scallops.
